Fertilization Control

Regardless of using in vitro fertilization or microinjection technique in the procedure, the number of oocyte fertilized is controlled 16-18 hours after the procedure. Fertilization appears like a double-core egg where chromosomes from mother and father come together. In an average case, 7-8 of 10 oocytes are expected to be fertilized.
The situation is complex for women with a small number of oocyte. Yet, even if 2 of 5 oocytes are not fertilized, 2-3 embryos are expected to remain. But if fertilization does not occur in women with 1-2 oocytes, there may be no embryo left to give. The most appropriate time for transfer is expected by continuing to inform during the follow-up after fertilization control.
